The staff who served me were polite, courteous, helpful and efficient. It was good to see a queue before I collected mine today and a queue afterwards.

However I have one gripe about the issuing of season tickets. Why are you issued with a sticker that that you have to put on your seat yourself? Why isn’t this done by someone at the club?

Mainly moaning, as today I wasn’t allowed to put my sticker on due to people working at the ground. ‘Elf and Safety meant that I could not put a self adhesive sticker on a seat. I blame the SAG!

precisely 1,585 season tickets have been sold as of 16.15BST on Wednesday 05 June 2019. The Stags have therefore sold over 600 more season tickets compared to this time last year, which includes over 200 new registrations.

Never understand why we always say “precisely” before stating a number.

As in we’ve sold 1,585 and someone might get that confused

The new 284 is the key number for me, the year on year trend could have simply been bringing existing season ticket holders spend forward due to the offer but this number means we could have more season tickets and more money locked into the club this year.

So we've sold a thousand more than last year? Time to bury that old 'apathy' trope then surely!

We’ve significantly increased our fan base within the last few years, it’s got to be said. I imagine a lot are that used to go years ago like, last time I remember us averaging similar to what we have now was probably 04?

Although I remember getting 5,000+ on a Tuesday night around that time!

So only two seasons since 79/80 have had a higher attendance than this last season. One of them by 210 and one by just 22.

Any chance ‘Tater will quit with the apathy rants? ;)

Look at the drop from the late 70's to the early/mid 80's
Nearly 75% drop in attendances from 8800 to around 2300.
I blame Thatcher!! ;)

Interesting that those who wanted DF to stay saying that we've got an untried manager & it's all doom & gloom now have these facts to face! Seems a lot more people think it will be a better season with an untried manager.
