Another new badge that looks exactly the same as the others. Brentford, Man City, Bristol City, Stevenage all have the exact same design with matching type.

Our badge is crap. Now Stevenage have a crap badge too, it does make ours any less crap.

The critter on their badge is a Hart, taken from the Hertfordshire coat of arms

Any club with a coat of arms or whatever they are called are automatically worse than ours.

Ours is quite smart, just the stencil stag that needs tweaking

There are some awful badges out there and ours is among them. I'd say that Lincoln, MK, Oldham and Cambridge are worse than ours.

On the plus side of having a ‘less than desirable badge’ at least we won’t have any ‘Johnny foreigners’ kissing the badge and professing undying love for the club after scoring a hat trick.

To be fair though I wouldn’t mind if he scored 30 goals.

Off the top of my head, as they come to me, worst badges in the league: Forest, MK Dons, Stoke, Fulham, Norwich, Brighton, Burton, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Morecambe, Cheltenham and finally... Mansfield.

In your opinion. I like it. Far better than our historic ones too.

People calling for a pointless badge change under estimate the financial costs for this. Rebrand is not cheap for something that doesnt neee changing.

Other clubs know our badge.

Lets move on

We really must be short of something to discuss if other club badges are a live topic.

How long until the season starts? I can't take much more of this

I'd rather have folk making up fake transfer rumours than arguing who's badge looks worse

Lincoln City’s imp in the club badge is a fairly accurate representation of a medieval carving to be seen high up in the north side roof of the Cathedral choir. It has been famous for hundreds of years.

I’m not a Lincoln fan, but I think it’s commendable that something unique to the city has been incorporated into the football club’s badge.

Haha, you must have a short memory, stagsnet can be a real barrel scraper this time of year. Still got plenty of time for that to prove true this year yet though :)

Also, I think Lincoln's is great.

Loads of lower league teams have done it in recent years so it can't be that expensive. And we're one of the richer clubs in the division. I'd think that a new proper amber home shirt with the old 70s badge on it would see well enough to cover all costs.

Hartlepool United just put a stag on their crest too.
