Earning more as a leccy, so why would he come back here to a job that may only last a season?

We don't need a goal keeping coach. We already have two experienced thirty year old goal keepers.
It was crazy that we had a goal keeping coach when we had Jenson & Shearer - with a combined age of about a hundred!
..... and what good did that do?
We simply need the best goal keeper we can get, plus an experienced back-up.

Were you being ironic in your original post Yorkshire Stag? - in which case, I will accept 'wooosh' on my side. Otherwise ...

Wasn't Jensen the goalkeeping coach as well?

Correct, we didn't have one when we had Jensen and Shearer, as far as I can remember, as Jensen was signed as a player coach. Pledger only came in when Jensen was released.

Wonder if Coxy still thinks it's a shrewd appointment, now that Glover has been announced?
