Season Ticket fred sponsored by the next generation

Postby Stags 2002 » Mon May 13, 2019 8:51 pm

It shouldn't be to long before we find out this years season ticket prices, I do however hope they offer an early bird and give incentive to bring on the next generation of fans.

Last season's ticket prices.

SEASON TICKET PRICES IN IAN GREAVES UPPER/LOWER, QUARRY LANE STAND:

CATEGORY PRICE COST PER GAME
Adult £350 £15.22
Senior (65+) £280  £12.17
Young adult (18-21) £180 £7.83
Junior (7-17) £90  £3.91

What would you be happy to pay this year?

Adult £275 for an early bird £375 thereafter?

6 and under free
7-12 £30
13-17 £75
18-21 £150?

Higher adult increase to reduce junior tickets thoughts?

Keep prices same .
Up scale the QLE membership.
Upscale the family ticket offer.

No early bird.

Fan base is at a 20 year high we don’t need to go offering cheap tickets out as the current system is working.

Doubt there will be an early offer, it doesn’t seem to be the Radford’s style. I don’t think prices can go up too much more without general admission going up, otherwise there’s limited incentive to get a season ticket

If we were doing the early bird IMO it should have been offered out when we were flying high in 2nd & 3rd.

Tough one for JR & CR in terms of pricing for net season but I do hope they stick with the QLE membership, a fantastic scheme.

JR wanted to try the QLE membership last season and scrap the early bird which cost the club £30-£35,000. He's got to get a bit of money from somewhere to help finance the big playing budgets. You can't expect him to find it all out his own pocket.

The QLE membership seems to have been very successful so I think he will stick with it.

I would like to see him targeting the better deals at kids and families as they are the future of the football club.

Are they ever. Sure the family block idea is great but what about a few mates coming to the game with each other? 16 each in the upper, 14 in the lower..

Does anyone know, if I buy an OAP ticket then can I also use it for a junior? I want to get an Adult ticket for me and then a spare seat for either my father in law or one of my kids. I don;'t want to but one for each of them and I am happy to pay the higher (OAP) price.

Technically season tickets are not transferable.

I had a mate who died during the season which the club knew about so they then cancelled his ticket and started selling his seat to anyone.

But saying this, if you bought two adult tickets then they do not check when entering the ground.

Concession tickets activate a buzzer when passing through the turnstiles so alert the turnstile operator to see if an adult is using a concession ticket.

What? An adult using a junior ticket or the club using technology to detect it? :D

I think he means selling again a dead man’s season ticket seat.

Arsenal allow you to pass on your wishes on transferring your season ticket on when you die. Probably a longer waiting list there than at the One Call!

Well I know people to have done it and never get caught so i'm unsure of that.

I wonder if the club know the fans feeling towards these prices, and more importantly if they care?

I had a QLE membership last season and used my dads season ticket (OAP) when he was away one week, it buzzed on the way in and the steward took the season ticket off me and threatened to kick me out. Luckily it was all sorted in the end.
