Sometimes, but not always mate.
The formations that they've used under John Dempster (and his assistants) over these past few years, have been many fold... and, most importantly, their strategy was always open to flexibility during games too.
If the shape of the team, or personnel, ever need altering, then dealing with situations whenever they presented themselves, has always been one of 'Demps' strengths thus far.

I wish John all the best. Cowley had a lot less football experience and look what he has achieved. I'm backing John 100%

I've really come around to the idea this morning after a good sleep.
If he gets the backing, we'll be in with a shout this season.

Glyn Chamberlain is free and is looking for work (currently a Cardiff scout). He is local and has a lot of experience, so could be ideal assistance for JD

When's the Presser?
I want to hear from the big man JD

I hope he learns from Adam Murrays experience and appoints an experienced assistant who knows the league and has contacts.
Talking of Adam Murray he wouldn't be a bad recruitment manager.

Paul Cox nailed on for a role in his staff listening to that.

Thought the same. Wonder in what capacity? Wouldn't mind Adam Murray as our head of recruitment

Yeah, and get Ian Deakin back as GK Coach, Nick Wright as Kitman and Lee Stevenson as Cleaner whilst we're at it.

Didn't Murray sign some of our best current players on an absolute shoe string? Or we can, you know, chuck insane amounts at another Grant....

This whole situation is just completely disappointing. Sacking Flitcroft was understandable but literally everything else from there is enough to make anyone concerned. The rumours of the personnel coming into support JD also might just be rumours, but they don't help matters (depending on your view I guess). So uninspiring from where I'm sat.
Mad what has happened in the space of a few days.

Think its p*** poor that the club haven't broadcast the whole press conference for free to be honest. Really should be put on YouTube in full rather than ifollow.

Not a shoestring, but he recruited really well with much less money than the past two managers.
CJ, Benning, Pearce, Rose, Tafazolli, Matty Blair, Rhys Bennett, all of these have even been a good player for us or moved higher up the leagues.

Murray also signed Emmanuel Dieseruvwe, Michael Raynes, Ricky Ravenhill, James Baxendale, Jeffrey Monakana Lenny Pidgley etc.

Tafazolli was a Cox signing in fairness but the point stands.
