Monday nights speech from Johnny should dispel these fears. He has his third aim yet to achieve and that is to get us to the Championship ;)

Yeovil sacked Darren Way. Rumours Nolan may go to twist the knife in and send little Al down.

As a comparison to where Clownty are now with 7 to play and where we were in 07/08 with 7 to play we were a point better off than them. In the last 7 games we managed 8 points and went through the trapdoor on 42. With Macc seeming to have found some steel and with a game in hand it's going to be interesting to see how this little mini league pans out. Arguably Macc have the easiest run in of the three involved.

A takeover is "imminent", OWS.

But don't just take my word for it.

Flash Hardy has said it's been "imminent" for the last few months.

And "imminent" means "imminent".

Smurf has said he will pull the financial plug in May (after this season is finished). It is likely the club will either go into receivership or administration. Either way, there’s a buyer waiting so, unless the Smurf is willing to cut off his nose to spite his face, a change of ownership will ensue.

The club will have a points penalty, but this wouldn’t come into play until next season, whether that be in L2 or the National.

I think.

Yes that's right. The cut off point is Thursday I think for going into admin. But NS has said he won't put any money into the club after the season has finished so providing Vale stay up they'll start next season on minus points IF they go into administration.

However if Notts go into administration AND get relegated they will end up in the Conference North/South because the Conference don't let teams into the division who are in administration.

I think the National League gives a club a season to sort itself out if it is in administration. :coys:

I always thought that the season does end until the AGM in June.

Also I thought any points deductions still counted if it made a difference to promotion and relegation positions.

So I don’t think Port Vale are safe until after the AGM, or finish at least 12 points above the relegation places.

Mark Stalled on EMT was described as a Financial Adviser. In his grotty jeans and even grottier jumper he looked like he'd just come from a bad day at the bookies. Even he struggled to think Clownty could stay up.

Further comparison with the cheats last year - they were also a point better off than clownty with 7 games remaining, but they only managed another 4 points by the end of the season to finish on 38.

Alan has emailed ex Paragon employees asking if they want to start a company again. He can't see that he is the sole reason they went tits up last time. Unbelievably arrogant.

The receivers of Blackpool have spent SIX weeks going through the books so they can make a realistic sale. They have had 59 expressions of interest in buying the club so far.

What on earth is happening at Meadow Lane? Big Alan (and his friend little Alan) said they had two interested parties and everything would be announced inside a short period of time.

Now is not a good time to follow Notts County................shame
