I said the same, you here all this talk about shortages of Police, based on yesterday they must have drafted in Yellow jackets from neighbouring forces. It did seem OTT unless Vale have got a serious hooligan problem

I can only imagine that they were expecting a more volatile protest from the Vale fans. The Vale fans we spoke to were just like us. They care passionately for their club and are suffering from Smurthwaite in a similar way that we were under the Calver criminal.
