Think i'll be listening to "The Smiths" on the way home as i'm rating that as slightly more cheerful than what i have just watched. Season is not over but feels like it at the mo.

Don't be daft about season over. We've still got to play Lincoln and MK Dons, still in our hands. Plus our top scorer is back for the next game.

That was simply a bottle job, they were quite simply for the taking and we just self imploded. A truely shocking defeat and simply the hardest to take all season.

I just hope the players are angry like I am right now, I feel sick - it's the toughest result to swallow for the entire season by far to me.

No arm around the players please, they need a rollocking.

Any notion we are stuck to the play-offs is raspberrys now too, loads of points to play for including Lincoln and MK - Don't give up the faith.

Certainly not tougher than the County game as far as I'm concerned.

Drop Grant ASAP, he's been useless for the past 3 games.

Another embarrassing performance away from home. January signings all been pathetic recently, we are a playoff team at best, recent away form will see to that. Grant has been terrible 3 games straight, Turner is like an oil tanker, Ajose not up to it, and Jones can’t even keep Atkinson out the team.

It’s cliche but it’s true, nearly every time the fans turn out in numbers we bottle it. Heard so many folk say ‘what’s the point, we always bottle it’... sums it up.

We've got a returning Walker, who will be well rested. Grant finally has someone to pass to.

Unfortunately our defence had a off day. MK Dons were out the autos and snuck back in. We can do the same.

MK are away to morecambe, who smacked 3 past forest Green, on Tuesday night. The season ain't over yet.

Last thing the club needs are the fans bottling the season now.

We've now lost against 3 of the bottom 4 and dropped points against the other one. That's inexcusable.

Fans bottling it? The team were shocking at Newport and yet 4000+ turn up at county to see another awful performance, and another 1300+ see the same at Port Vale. Don’t worry about the fans bottling it, it’s the team.

Grant wants dropping for the next away game as well, hasn’t done anything in recent games to warrant a space in the 11.

The injuries we have are affecting our progress at the momernt, there is no back up. We must win at Crawley on Tuesday now, everyone else is in great form, we are struggling away and we need an away win to boost our confidence. It’s not over until the fat lady sings at MK Dons.

My confidence in this team and management is being seriously tested.

I doubt we will do it now.

Pathetic. For some reason we never believed in ourselves right from the start.
I don't know how you can even come over to the away fans, when you have put so little fight into a game like that. Some shocking performances there and nobody looked up for it.

Flitcroft said himself that he wouldn't have clapped them off against County, but yet he's let them do it three away games running now.

Newport, County and now Port Vale have all been terrible performances. Need to turn it around against Crawley mid week.

How many disappointed away fans were there?

Great turnout.

It seemed like we never believed in ourselves because we were set up in the wrong formation from the start. The 11 on the pitch lends itself to a back 4 but instead we have to force a 5 at the back... we move Benning to CB, move Sweeney to the middle, move Pearce to RCB, Atkinson at RWB... is there any wonder we look uncomfortable when the whole back line has been shifted out of a natural position? We have seen that this team look good playing a 4 but we seem to waste half the game messing about with this formation when the players on the pitch don’t suit it. Turner poor when he came on too so didn’t solve anything.
