Come on Notts, there must be something you can do to relieve your financial predicament?

Is there nothing left in the Sign Glenn Roeder bucket?

SlackPie Another deluded Notts Fan.....

See his post taken off Notts Fans Forum.....

Depends if the club is sold between now and then. If it is, presumably the new owners will have the money to cover the costs, otherwise why both taking over. If not, another option is selling our better players, and releasing all players whose contracts are up. Some of our highest earners are out of contract in the summer (Vaughan, Stead), so that will make things easier.

Under normal circumstances, we could easily get a six-figure fee for Enzio, and we could probably sell Dennis and Hemmings for a fee as well. But if clubs know we're screwed they'll be able to get our better players for next to nothing.

If Hardy can't find a buyer, I think it's fair to say we're screwed.

They'll need one hell of a buyer, owe £7 million in loans, £200,000 to the HMRC, losses of £20K a week is it.

Rab n Lukomski are proper worried now. Three weeks ago they thought there was no stopping them surging to safety cos they'd fluked a couple of results, but the Swallow has decided to turn back and head South as the temperature at t'Lane threatens to drop to an all time low.

Well he calls himself 'Big Al' for starters. He should stick to running his animal sanctuary.

It’s now on their forum. They think it’s some rich bloke
who used to own derby. They reckon he’s worth £150m and going
to relocate them to cowlick

Deluded!!

..... and why would anyone do that? Meadow Lane is a perfectly good stadium and it is the “spiritual” home of the club. It’s not as if the present stadium could be sold by the incoming buyer, as it is leased.

It’s a bit of fan fantasy-speak IMO.

This must be their John Bachelor phase, unless Hardy is it.

Of course, the “buyer” could be the owner of the Nottingham Greyhound Stadium at Colwick. Now THAT would be appropriate, as County seems to be going to the dogs!

Does the estate of Haydn Green still own Meadow Lane?

It's probably the owners of that app where fans have control of the club - they're on about purchasing a non-league club on Wednesday

If Paragon have loaned money to County, the administers will be looking to call them in.
Could be squeaky bum time.

I think they own the stands, but not the land.

They've had talk of an American buying them.

Then there was talk of the Bulgarian bloke who owns Ludogorets buying them.

I can't for the life of me see why anyone would want to buy a club in massive debt, that has no assets, and are staring relegation to the Non-League in the face with a possibility of getting relegated further.

They need to get a bit of realism about them. It'd take somebody seriously rich, seriously stupid, or in a best case scenario for them, a combination of both, for any takeover to happen.
