Pitch inspection

Postby Stagsmill » Sat Feb 09, 2019 6:10 am

Morning All.
Newport supporter here.
After several hours of rain and wind yesterday, there is a pitch inspection scheduled today at 9:00 (9:00).
Numerous supporters, including myself, queued in this weather on day one of ticket sales yesterday for next weekends FA Cup R5 match v Man City.

Excellent weather forecast today, so unless the pitch is actually flooded I don't expect a problem. Nothing on the Newport website or forum to suggest that the match is in doubt. Just setting off now...

I've just spoken to Mark Stevenson and he says there's no pitch inspection.
