What I also find strange is their are a few Mansfield fans who slate Forest, even when they have done nothing to us lol. That and you will find a lot of Forest fans can’t stand County, instead they would rather watch us play, rather than go across the Trent.

As Mansfield fans, why would anyone give a toss either way about Celtic?
Random Hero wrote:I don't really know of any real animosity towards Forest from Stags fans. In fact, I know quite a few Forest fans who come to watch us when they are away (and not just since the loanees came in!) and genuinely want Stags to do well. Certain Stags fans go to the bigger Forest games.
We've never been in the same league as them for a lengthy period of time, which is where a real rivalry would form. Obviously there's gentle ribbing about the European Cup (they won it twice, bet you didn't know that!...) and they take the mickey about us being a smaller club, but nothing serious.
Stags and Forest have always had a good relationship, as have Chesterfield and Derby. To put them anywhere near the same league of hatred as Chesterfield or Notts County is ludicrous.

Mansfield will always be my number one but i like to see Forest go well too.

Sorry that can’t happen ! Dont you understand? They are our rivals and take support out of our town ,which affects our gates ! Hope they get relegated and we go up and play them in league 1 .That would be nice!
