The fog abandoned Preston North End game in 1991 was 1-1 if I remember and not 0-0 as stated unless my memory is playing tricks?

Thought Phil Stant scored in the abandoned game?

Unusual spelling of Harrogate Railway too in the report!

There was also a Stags game televized in Swedish "Tipsextra" on January 14, 1978. Our home fixture against Southampton was televized. Originally, the Derby v Nottingham game in the first division should have been broadcast on Swedish telly, but that game was postponed. In order to find a game to broadcast then, the Stags home was the closest one. Of course, I watched the game which ended in a Stags 1-2 defeat.
Stockholm, July 4, 2008, 15.00 GMT. Good news came, K.H. gone. March 1, 2012. Ground purchased.

I may be getting addled in my dotage, but I seem to remember us participating in 3-0 win over Peterborough United at London Road.

That Rotherham win was a good one as we had a terrible record there, even lost there in 74/5.
I can remember saying to my mate that I didn't know what to make of Greenacre, cue the net bulging at our end and me asking who was that !

Was that a Saturday night kick off, or is my memory playing tricks on me?

I was transferring some old VHS to DVD for a client recently and my Mrs said I should make sure all of ours are on DVD, while I was rooting through them I came across the Preston game on a VHS.

Talking about live games the sheep are on telly on the 23rd at home to Sutton (big club) and kicks off at 12.30pm.
Expect to see the SP packed for the pre match entertainment/laugh in.

Sutton you say. Trinity or town? As one plays on Sutton lawn and I could nip over whilst walking the dog and watch? Saves putting the tele on.
