Glad that Mr Smurthwaite is recovering.
But the name Norman Smurthwaite reminded me so much of the "Golden Gordon" episode of Michael Palin's "Ripping Yarns".

But the name Norman Smurthwaite reminded me so much of the "Golden Gordon" episode of Michael Palin's "Ripping Yarns".
Norman Smurthwaite, bald as an egg he were, but could score wi an 'edder frum thotty yards easy.
