3954 WILL NOT BE ENOUGH I'm afraid to say. If results for Clownty continue on such a catastrophic course in the intervening games and we continue to keep on course for a promotion then they should give us the family stand n all as they'll not fill the two other stands which are the Pavis and Kop. In fact Wallace could do a Haslam and give us 3 sides of the ground. :D

I am sure that SAG will insist on having a sterile area with hundreds of empty seats.

5500 capacity stand and we get less than 4000.
Just buy seats in the home end when there gone. SAG gone mad, and judging by a previous thread, they have a vendetta against MTFC full stop.

If that's all we get, it will definitely not be down to Hardy. He needs every penny he can get at the moment.

Theres plenty of senile areas in the Notts end, maybe this could replace sterile areas in our end?

What I don’t understand is that we had less than 4000 fans at the last home game and there will be less than 400 travellers tomorrow, yet people are moaning about 4000 allocation. Is it because some who go to County are once a season fans who go for a day out?

If we have a good run now for the next few weeks I think we’d shift close to 5000 tickets if we had the allocation. Can see a few Stags fans ending up in the home end.

Exactly that.

Would I like to see every single fan who goes to Meadow Lane at Field Mill, yes. Will it happen, no.

Enjoy the day and let’s make a right racket all afternoon.

I know it will be your first visit there, but seriously????

Of course it’s a day out. The people who tend to watch football also like a pint and a day out. All three have been intertwined throughout history. So don’t over think the day, don’t worry about what people say regarding the allocation, don’t worry about anything Cone and his not so merry band of bottom of the league dwellers say and just get a ticket, get there, enjoy the beer, enjoy your mates company, enjoy seeing friends that you haven’t seen for a season and sing when we are winning.

After all this may be, due to the way County aren’t playing, the only time you go there in the English Football League.

They could use half the Kop.

I should imagine the reduced ticket allocation is to do with policing & stewarding costs
That stand holds around 5,500 I think

To paraphrase the words of Roy Schneider .........."We're going to need a bigger boat!"

As has been said, enjoy the day, all our regular home fans will be there I guess plus folks that don't go so often, plus those that love the day out and won't go twice a year. The day is as much a celebration of Mansfield and now we have a team to match the mood of the day. We aren't as big as Notts as they like to tell us..........by heaven tho we are a better club. Can't wait!
