Also tried suing Portsmouth for £1 million when they were in danger of going bankrupt, when almost every single other player waived the wages they were owed.
Horrible bloke.

But according to him, Macclesfield are getting someone who was one of the best players in the world. How embarrassing! Move over Cartoon Palmer.

I think he'll jump ship if Macc continue to struggle. I wish him well though, if only to see Macc put the frighteners on the Pies. The win at Exeter (what's going wrong there?) will buoy them immensely.

I don't think it could be put any better than that. My toes were curling up listening to him last night and I could understand completely why he has not been given a chance before. An arrogance of ignorance right down to his boots, even trying to claim a bit of credit for the Exeter win. Thoroughly horrible bloke.

I’d imagine the last thing Macc fans want to hear is how good he thinks he was/is
What he did as player is worth Jack sh**t in terms of management.
He will make more enemies than friends based on the first interview, could be the new Steve Evans minus the 3 million claimed promotions !!

What the hell does it matter what colour his skin is?
I don’t like him. I wouldn’t dislike him less if he wasn’t black.

Just seen an article on the BBC Sport website with Campbell claiming he 'submitted at least 12-15 applications' for potential jobs.
I'm unsure if he's joined the real world or not yet but by reading that it would appear not.
Many out of work people submit 12 - 15 applications A DAY which often result in nothing and don't whine about it.
Best of luck to him but when you keep banging on about how you 'deserve' a chance and possibly hinting that some clubs are being racist for not hiring him then when that chance finally comes he has no option but to succeed. If he's as good as he thinks he can be then let's see it Mr Campbell.

Fair question - but you should address it to Mr Campbell.

Racial prejudice definitely exists in football and particularly with black managers not being given opportunities, but in Sol Campbell's case, it's just because he's Sol Campbell.

It does, but Sol has made an art form out of playing the race card.

Agreed, as said elsewhere, if you're a prat you're a prat, whether you're white, black or Mr Blobby

You say that but Roy Keane started Sunderland, Barton at Fleetwood and even Paul Merson started in the champ.
I dont like Campbell but if you dont believe there is racial prejudice in football then you have your head very much buried in the sand!

Absolute crap, loads of teams have more black players than white, especially in the lower leagues.
Regarding managers, football is such a massive money business that if you're good enough you're in. Wouldn't matter if you were green as long as you made the club money, if you don't believe that you have your head, body and anything that's left very much buried in the sand..

Horrible bloke.
Horrible bloke for being owed some money he was contractually obliged to before it all went tits up at Fratton Park? It was Tal Ben Haim who was the last 'hanger on' to his Pompey contract. He chose not to exercise his relegation clause and was eventually owed over 1mill by Pompey which nearly made them go bust as he took them to a tribunal.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Because he’s the one who plays the race card every five minutes. He’s the one with the agenda. He’s struggled to get jobs because he’s a whiny onanist.
