It was like a skid pan tonight. Never seen so many slipping over on a pitch in relatively mild conditions.
There is the chance to water the pitch all week. Why does it need to be wet through when a game is played? It's a serious question as I'm not sure as to why it's needed so close to a game being played. Is it a request from management so the ball zips about quicker to suit the passing game we like to employ?

and I’ll add , what an approachable bloke he is, top ladForever Optimistic wrote:I’ve spoken to Mez. Ground HAS to have around 20% moisture due to the sand etc used under it, hence the water. Management have requested the water for the passing game hence above. Basically, our players played using wrong studs, they seem to opt for the plastic moulded ones when they should go for the traditional ones. Players choice but seems they made the wrong choice
