Naithsmith from Pompey is far too good for league two but what a dream it would be to get him. He is class and Paul Cook with be watching now Wigan are going up.

he'd be a brilliant signing, but I doubt he'll be dropping down to league two sadly

So you would like us to sign a player who is going to 36 in a couple of days ?

Absolutely. Look at the stats - Akinfenwa scored more goals than Hemmings & Rose this season, plus he added a staggering 12 assists! Who cares if he is 36 with a performance like that!

Grimsby Town
Released: Ben Davies, Nathan Clarke, James Berrett, Tom Sawyer, Jack Keeble, Ben Killip, Scott Vernon, Karleigh Osborne, Gary McSheffrey, Sean McAllister, Zak Mills
Offered New Contracts: James McKeown, Luke Summerfield, Martyn Woolford, Danny Collins, Andrew Fox, Ahkeem Rose
Options Exercised: Siriki Dembele, Max Wright, Harry Clifton, Reece Hall-Johnson

Interesting how Ben Davies did not work out as a good signing for Grimsby. Many of us would have signed him as a right back from Portsmouth.

I'd take that siriki dembele, probably won't happen if they've extended his contract though

Barrow
Released: Harry Panayiotou, Thierry Audel, David Fitzpatrick, Bradley Bauress, Tony Diagne, Byron Harrison
Transfer Listed: Asa Hall, Dan Jones, Jordan White, Bedsente Gomis, Jack Barthram
Offered New Contract: Moussa Diarra, Nathan Waterston, Donovan Makoma

Byron Harrison has been released by Barrow. He would have been a better signing than Jimmy Spencer.

I think another club can still sign Siriki Dembele but they will need to agree a fee with Grimsby otherwise it would go to a tribunal. I assume he is under 24.

Guessing Mitch rose still has a year left. I’d acrually have him back any day.

Underrated and under used when with us and had a good season with Grimsby this season.

At least he got stuck in and very rarely Neshed out of a tackle. Could of been a replacement for McGuire. Also chips in with a few goals. Would also take him back.

I thought he looked a promising player and was a little disappointed to see him go

Mitch Rose was a headless chicken. No positional sense what so ever.
The Stags are for life, not just for cup finals. (or Liverpool).

I also like Maris at Cambridge.
Miller would be a 100% yes for me.
All signable I think.

We need to be looking at signing the better players in league 2 I think rather than league 1 players.
This clearly didn't work.

I posted this the other week on the new striker thread forest town stag.

Not sure taking both wingers fits in with extending CJ's contract and letting him develop his game?
If i look in pain it's because i'm thinking

Rhys Bennett should have been offered a new contract, he works his socks off. Cannot believe that decision. Jacob Melliis is a lazy footballer, runs around doing nothing. Finally Dave Murfin did anyone see him Oh once?

He’s also just won player of the month for the entire division in April.

Surely he would flourish more with competition for his place ?

Blackpool
Released: Ben Williams, Andy Taylor, Jim McAlister, Will Aimson, Sessi D’Almeida, Danny Philliskirk, Jamille Matt, Raul Correia, Denzel Williams and Caleb Richards
Options Exercised: Nathan Delfouneso and Jack Sims
In Discussions: Kelvin Mellor, Clark Robertson, Kyle Vassell, Mark Cullen, Armand Gnanduillet, Dolly Menga, Colin Daniel, Jay Spearing and Myles Boney.

Kyle Vassell would be a good signing from Blackpool and Armand Gnanduillet would be a decent Plan B target man.

Nathan Cameron released by Bury. Was centre half and captain for Flitcrofts Bury side that won promotion from League 2. Wonder if he'll be taking a look at him
