Great showing so far on BT sport, Lincoln 2-0 up over Oldham.

Rheads been immense for them. Nathan Arnold, as ever had been fast but with no end product

From what I've seen its been all oldham doing nothing with it.... then just before HT Rhead wins another flick on and the lad trough on goal should score, almost 3-0.

Then as i type that, Rhead again flicks to Arnold who's cross comes to nothing.

Id like to see them back in the league

Caught most of it. Rheady is playing very well.

Would assume its all over haha.. I think wimbledon had something like 33 attempts on goal in that game, madness to say they won 4-3

Oldham have had 19 shots to Lincoln's 6... Five minutes left.
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...

We recently had a r2 replay v Oldham on bt sport midweek so we can compare attendances. Our reward was away to Liverpool. A once in a lifetime opportunity. Or maybe not as we would have got that tie again. 3 out of last 4 3rd Rd ties would have been Liverpool the other Luton.
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

In fairness, we were playing Lincoln on TV with the chance to play Liverpool and still only attracted 5,200.

Credit to Lincoln, though Oldham are league 1, they're as appealing as a wet weekend in Grimsby

As i said elsewhere on this thread, they've got a good thing going at Lincoln - at the moment. They'll come up then they'll be getting 6-7,000 a game until they start losing again then they'll probably fall back into 'normal' attendances. People will come and see a winning team.

Many of the guys I work with went to the game last night only because of the cheap entry fee. Every single one said they would not have bothered at the normal price. Some with kids said the price was only £5 so this obviously explains the bumper crowd.

and i thought i heard they haven't lost in 15 games or so? If we hadn't lost in that long and we were in the play offs i'm sure we would be getting some good crowds

A good 2-1 home win for Lincoln today against league leaders, Tranmere Rovers. First goal was scored by Nathan Arnold.

There was a crowd of 6,335 at Sincil Bank with 807 from Tranmere.

There was a crowd of 10,084 at Donny Rovers with 4,012 from Grimsby.

The Mansfield and Ashfield public need to start getting behind JR and the Stags.
