I do hope its true, although it kick in the teeth from what happened last year.
Him and Kilgour would certainly be a good combo.

Will Swan also. Two excellent signings

He’s kicked us twice and shouldn’t be given the chance to do it a third time.

Is that lovely chap still his agent? Be surprised if we were after him again if he is, but what do I know.

You've moaned like raspberry for 2 years about lack of defenders yet you'd turn Naylor down

Just like he’s turned us down. I feel this is nothing more than another con to get another club to up their offer to him. When they do he’ll sign for them and leave us chasing an alternative player just before the window closes. We should tell him where to stick it and save the other club (whoever they are) some money.

100% I would sign him, he’s a quality footballer, heaps of experience at a higher level. With question marks remaining over Perch and Quinn carrying on next season his experience would be a huge asset. As for the past, it’s exactly that. Any League One or League Two side would love to have him.

Be a great signing but no point getting our hopes up until he’s on the pitch

I've a long memory bud, I'd sign him in a shot. We need quality at the back, he's quality.

Tom Naylor would be a damn good signing for any Lg2 club.
He would also demand a high wage.
Pretty sure one of the reasons he said in an interview for not signing for us was the promise of playing in midfield....where he has played the majority of his time in recent years....I presume the main ones were playing at a bigger club and a higher level too.
Ideal then for NC to sign him and play him at Centre Half

He’s on 8 grand a week, don’t think we could pay him even half of that.

Not really arsed. Turned us down for more money and a team that was one of favourites to go up from League 1, and they did. He'd be one of the best defenders in L2.

My concern would be that he’s barely played as a centre back for the last five years, and only around 17% of his career appearances have been as a centre back.
How many bad performances would it be until the square peg in round holes shouts started.
