Replace Wallace with a fit Macca, Quinn with Dunne and Oates with Johnson and that would be my starting line-up for that formation. I would still prefer the diamond though as we don't have the players for 3 centre backs.

Happy with that result, great to see Johnson get 45 minutes. If Oates is injured it could be a blessing in disguise, he's not firing, Swan is and DJ has been banging them in for Waarsaall.

Called this a few weeks ago, either on here or Facebook, got ridiculed about Flinders having a run in the first XI.
Pym has been OK but not outstanding, certainly not "immense".

Pym shouldn’t be anywhere near the team. Flinders has made more saves in the last two games than Pym has made all season.

I think you won't see Oates again for a while, if the injury turns out to be as bad as it looked..the psychological impact of two upper body injuries in quick succession can be devastating , he looked absolutely downcast when he came off...shoulder and chest injuries can be more debilitating than leg injuries and they can take longer to recover from...

Said it months ago Oates is prone to injury and always will be just that sort of player
Glad we have Johnson to cover
Oates for long term no good sadly

Did Johnson celebrate the late goal with AK & team mates?

Listened to the Hughes interview on the way back on BBC Leeds, moaning about the amount of injury time, saying we only had a couple of long range shots in the 2nd half, that teams raise their games coming to a club like Bradford and that we celebrated like we’d won the FA Cup as it meant that much to us

FGS give the lad a break ...its like an obsession with pulling a player to bits .....great point today it keeps us in the mix
Flinders does seem to be a more competent keeper than pym ...but we will see about that when pym is fit !!!

Feel sorry for Oates if it’s another long lay off, but I’ve no idea what he was doing going for that ball, he was never getting it in a millions years.

Just got back, superb second half performance it was do or die and nice to see us play with a certain amount of desperation and upping the tempo. Deserved a point out of it, Kilgour is gonna be a fans favourite, Akins will have to ask for his shirt back from their centre half in the first half and the ref gave him nothing. The 3 injuries are a kick in the teeth but I think that Swan deserves a chance now.

That young ballboy should feel proud that he contributed to our equaliser too, when he tried to do the opposite when walking away with the ball

What a player Hewitt is, he looks like he could play 180 minutes and not let up - he was everywhere today and involved in a lot of the key moments. If you'd have told me that the young lad who had such an indifferent start with us would turn into our leading light on such a consistent basis, I'd have found it hard to believe. It's a pleasure to watch him play.

I thought we were excellent second half but quite disjointed in the first, not helped by the injuries and some bizarre refereeing. Wallace found it hard going and whilst the decision to replace him was bang on I was surprised Clough did it, both subs at half time were very positive which was great to see and maybe next week we can be positive from the start. Hewitt was outstanding again and for me a clear MOM, closely followed by Flinders. I thought Akins did very well 2nd half and we are so much better with Maris in midfield, he really should have started. Overall I think we deserved to win that game but it was great to snatch a point after all the Bradford time wasting and the ball boy shithousery! Fans were absolutely brilliant, both stands.

Managed to watch the game, and thought we played really well. The injuries disrupted the side and I hope Johnson, Reed & Oates recover quickly.
Saying that, all credit to NC. He had to make emergency subs, and then had the balls to really change it at half-time.
Akins, Hewitt & Kilgour in the second half were amazing, and Bowery certainly didn't let himself or the side down.
For all the midfielders who were on the pitch, only Clarke looked off his game... And that's saying something. Keillor-Dunn, Swann & D Johnson all looked threatening
Worried about all the injuries we keep getting, but we have the players, as proved today, to take on the best in this division... and I think Bradford will be up there this year.
