If Donny sell out could be biggest crowd of season so far.

I'm not sure.

Derby sold out just under 1700 for both cup games.

They tweeted that after selling an initial allocation of 1220, they have been given 500 more, so will be looking at 1720 away fans.

With the usual asterisk that we actually won't know the attendance

Currently stags have sold over 5,400 and rovers over 1,600. So with on the day sales should be a crowd of nearly 8,000 I reckon.

Worth remembering that the capacity in the home stands for a game which is not all ticket for home fans is 6400

https://www.mansfieldtown.net/news/2019 ... stevenage/

I doubt we will reach that.

But if we did get close to it, I wouldn't rule out it being switched to all ticket, as Cunno says

Or that we announce there is 8,000 but actually there's 7,400 in the ground in reality

The clear fake attendances that are announced are really embarrassing. It’s not an attendance if someone doesn’t attend. There’s a clue in the word.

I dont get the confusion if someone buys a ticket that seat is sold so if 20 people wanted to sit in my seat it is not available.
The attendance is seats sold.
If all seats are sold its a sell out, and once more with 500 fans wanting a seat there isnt any.

No it’s not … it’s not unreasonable to assume if someone has bought a ticket they will attend. They aren’t fake or embarrassing.

I’m with Belly, the attendance is the No of people actually at the event

But if they know what the "actual" attendance is then they could just announced that.

If there was ever a need (god forbid) for the authorities to know how many are actually in the ground they're not going to announce the figure who purchased tickets as opposed to those there are they?

I don't get why we (and other clubs) lie about how many are actually in attendance, I don't see what the need or purpose of it is.

They are fake and they are embarrassing. We are no better than the slime over the M1. ATTENDance. Not tickets sold. It’s people who ATTEND
