Nice to see the appreciative comments made by the majority of fans on that twitter posting. Shame about the bitterness in some of the others. Laps owes us nothing and I'm sure anyone would have made the same decision in his position

Some nasty comments about him leaving on twitter but the accounts look like they're run by 15 year olds

Some not happy with the way transfer was done. With the way laps was on their pitch before it was announced

Have the been under a rock all week.

I think the timing of the anouncement was just miss timed at our end, rather than theirs.

I thought the wording of our message was a bit weird: "completed his transfer". Normally, there feels like a structured way of doing it like 'we have sold someone to somebody for an undisclosed fee'

I have no problem with Laps at all, lovely guy, never let us down, could play higher than league 2, lovely message at the end and I understand entirely the reasons for him going - I think if you have a problem with him going then it's more about you than the actual reality of the situation.

Your right about Tafazolli. Pearce and Sir Mal left the right way too.

We all remember the bad ones. Naylor and Cook etc.

Apologies if I've missed it in the chain somewhere and I don't know, being they are permanent deals, but owing to us playing The Gills fairly soon, can there be or is there likely to be a clause exempting them from playing against us in the impending aforementioned fixture?

In the meantime I'll ask my Kent Sports contacts the same question but thought I'd pose the question here, too

It is unlikely to have the clause in.

I don’t think you can add the clause in for a permanent transfer

no you cannot do that for permanent transfers.

By the way, kentonline says that the Lapslie deal is a loan move. That is an error. update: they have amended that now
