kick-off time: Stevenage Away Sat CONFIRMED 3pm

Postby Berryhillstagno1 » Sun Dec 04, 2022 9:13 pm

What's the likelihood of EFL changes to the 3pm kick offs so we can watch the England game live at 7pm

I think a change is pretty unlikely. Would have been different I think if the England kick off was 3pm or 5pm.

Thanks Martin, I see several EFL games are already kicking off early on Sat. Is this coincidence or is it to accommodate screening contracts on the sports channels

there's only two kicking-off early in League 2.
Carlisle vs Barrow will be at police advice, it was the same last season.
Crewe vs Leyton Orient was moved in October: see https://www.leytonorient.com/news/2022/ ... -changed-/

just to be clear, I'm just giving my opinion as to what I think is likely.

Remember both teams would have to agree. I doubt Stevenage would want to move it.

Wimbledon have asked EFL if they can bring kick off forward

1.30 would be great. People could be back in Mansfield for 6pm but not too early a start either.

It's not feasible to change kick off times so close to the game. I know alot of fans who have purchased train tickets that are not transferable

Absolutely zero chance Evans will do us a favour.
Leaving the game at 3pm results in less away fans attending.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

I would take from this Stevenage have no intention of changing the kick-off time: https://www.stevenagefc.com/news/2022/d ... ll-league/

Is this pay on the day for away fans?

Stevenage a farce to get out of aswell with the buses all being parked in a field 10mins from the ground. Half tempted to sack it off

Should be a earlier kick off. Sadly I won't be there.

There is no chance that an overweight Scotsman is going to help Stags fsms. It'll mean there will be fewer to goad him all game
