We seem unable to cope with current attendances when it comes to food, drinks, etc. I can’t even get into the Pate bar these days so don’t bother. Think they will look at improving things next year? Bigger bar? It’s also a bit noddy they run out of sausage rolls and pies when they have a better idea of numbers than they did back in the day with pay on the day

This is what really lets us down and I’m sure we are missing a trick here.
We could create a signature dish that could be sold across all kiosks but done extremely well.
As it we have dried out pies and sausage rolls and old fashioned ‘clix’ machine drinks
As for the sandy pate bar, it’s just a very poor match day experience

Do they let you outside the ground at half time to get refreshments? I arrived at half time today and the car park outside the SPSB was really busy with people drinking or queueing up at the burger van?

Don't tell me you are only a part time fan now, Dan.

The club have applied to install a canopy outside the SP bar, that will help. People like me don't want to experience the crush inside the SP but outside is fine etc.

Will it be named, maybe for a lesser legend of the Stags than Pate and Bird, what about the Iyesden Christie Canopy?

There's many things that will help at half time.
Cashless bars for instance is the way forward, rather than someone be in a queue for 10 minutes then being Einstein remember they need to pay and are dithering with change - same goes with those serving - saves everyone time. The club should look to go cashless ASAP, they'll be some that won't agree for whatever reason but smart businesses are moving this way whether it's liked or not.
Also you see it at grounds where they have the systems where it pours 4 at a time - would be very helpful?
Also why not have some impetus and actually have 10 or 20 of each drink ready for half time poured 5 minutes before?
The above is just feedback than a go as we all clearly want the club to move in a positive way.

This may keep us all dry a little more but doesn't help the current situation.
Food is awful, service levels are awful and pricing is awful.
Awful experience overall

The Terry Hawkridge Canopy. No use in the wind.

The food bar under the I.G.Lower tier is great for a half time queue of 5 people. Any more than that be prepared for a nice shuffle through the men’s toilets , out the other side , a rugby scrum to get to the front only to be faced by a poor young kid on £3 a hour who bless em does their best...as for the pies ? £4 for a rock hard burnt rock.

I'm sure when David Sharpe was appointed one of the things he was looking at was to improve the catering operation. In terms of quality of offering, he hasn't.

No, but a few moments googling found what you are thinking. I suppose the reason I didn’t know is that I am a good few years older than you, Stu.

I agree, it's shocking. It's mostly Haslams fault, but not much has been done to improve in-stadium offerings and with gates so good it's basically not even worth trying to get anything at HT.
