The Lincoln game changed our fortunes. We were struggling again in the conference with Coxy, that game seemed to be a turning point. We won the replay, got Liverpool in round 3 and went on to win the league. COYS

Not looking forward to this one at all. If we start as we did against the likes of Crawley, Harrogate and Salford with the defence being woefully exposed for pace, ideas and movement we will be hammered. I hope this isn't taken as a free hit with the league seen as a priority but if we are as injury hit as Nigel professes where do the replacements come from? Cooper & Law should start, if not, is there any point of having a youth side when poorly performing aging players clog the route to the first team?

I would like to see us start how we mean to go by doing the simple things we find elusive, such as winning the first header of the game, 'putting one on' their players first, winning the second ball, being swift to challenge and not giving away needless free kicks through not being quick enough (Quinn especially) and keeping possession.

However, less hope is wrong, and I will be ecstatic with a scrappy goal mouth rebound taking us through to round three. COYS.

Take a rain coat. The roof does cover the lower tier but wind will inevitably blow it over you. Its an old stand and last time we went we had a post obscuring some of the view!

Looking forwards to this one. First away game for what feels like decades due to working Saturday morning (but redundancy means no work at present)

My dad paid for it, £15 for me, him and the young 'un (updates will be infrequent).

Here to hopefully a stags win and the youngest gets the bug and want to come on regular matchdays. He only came because its the FA Cup.

I did consider but usually the club announce the team in order. Usually. I hope they have in this instance.

I'm pretty sure that the team is never in order of formation.

I think it's a back 3 with Akins at LWB. 3 in midfield with Laps just off of Swan.
Gordon isn't good enough defensively to play in a back 4 and neither are Hawkins and Harbottle.

If its a 442 diamond I like that !!!...Maris back where he belongs, building up our attacks
If Akins is LWB....I do not like that

P.S......Stirk and possibly another young Centre Half from Forest could be signed in January, depends what funds are available (DJ fee ?) as there will be a fee involved for Stirk.
The lad that told me is not connected to the club directly....but knows alot that are !!
Only time will tell if its right ?

Hewitt definitely left back. Akins up front with Swan.

Great cross in from the right from Gordon (who allegedly can't cross) and we finish.

BBC credit Lapslie. We're at the ither end of the ground.

Listening to comms, it is the return of pace at the back and moving the ball more quickly. This squad is so vulnerable to injury due to its size but we sound as though we are more than holding our own

Bossing play. Had a few good situations. Could have 2 or 3 on another day.

Pym only had goal kicks and pass backs to do..

Some lovely play see us draw a good save from the keeper for a stags corner.

Corner comes in and out for a goal kick. Wednesday player down with a injury.

He's back up.

Playing well, we're the better team here. Maybe a bit tentative about putting the ball into the box/taking a shot but we could easily be 3-0 up with the chances made so far

Gone 4-1-4-1 2nd half. Akins rw and Quinn left wing. Maris in front of the back 4.
