Currently Adam Collin is taking training with the keepers, as you can see on a matchday. As I understand, the club's not in a position to say more at the moment.

I'm saying the club cannot say what's happening at the moment.

Hope everything is okay with him/family wise! I enjoyed the interview with him and he has a lot of experience in the game. Thought it might be time for retirement too but like gazza says, you wouldn't keep that quiet.

He might be unwell or have personal issues. Doesn't always have to be something shady going on.

He was on the Notts TV team talk show last night. Not asked directly about it but he referred to having ‘worked’ with Oli Hawkins in the past tense, and he was not questioned as if a current member of staff who could give an insight behind the scenes was it were.

Maybe he stole the bulbs from the floodlights. That would explain a lot.

Who's gonna be the first on here to say,
"I have it on good authority from someone close to t'club as to the reason for Seamus's departure. But I can't say anything."

I've got my Irish bloke on my street who knows him and isn't into football. Who said he was considering retirement in the summer.

Does that count :D

Seamus, a really top bloke who always had time to stop and talk football. As to why he went, just the truth. He was never a full time employee of the club, employed on a consultancy basis. He warmed the GK’s up and did free lance coaching works, however at 70 yrs plus of age he has had enough and hung up his gloves. Nothing sinister and no hidden agendas. Last seen at Bridlington watching Carlton Town play.

In short, a great bloke who has born us no ill will has retired and I for one wish all the best.
