Someone has told me that Paul Connor is a podiatrist in the north east. I dont remember him, just Duffy and Dyer from that era.

Kyle Perry. According to Wikipedia he's a wedding singer and run a workwear clothing firm with his brother.

I went to Collingham on Monday night to see Newark & Sherwood United managed by Jonathan D'Laryea beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the Notts Senior Cup Semi-Final. Attendance: 1,002

I had a chat with Nathan Arnold before the game who is the former Newark & Sherwood manager but moved to Cleethorpes Town earlier this season. He is living in Gainsborough. He told me that the Cleethorpes backroom staff left shortly after he arrived and so he recruited Craig Disley as his assistant manager who lives in Market Rasen. They are currently 6th, just outside the play offs, in the NPL East (Step 4). Worksop are running away with the league.

Newark had a few former Stags youth team players playing for them - Nyle Blake, Tom Slone and Kian Sketchley. Nyle Blake scored the first goal.

I also bumped into former Mansfield Town Chairman James Derry in the sponsors bar but he scarpered quick after he saw my Stags scarf. He was probably getting Vietnam flashbacks

The guy that owns Fleetwood owns them too, so I’d imagine they aren’t short of a bob or two

He was good first half of the season for us but then faded away into average performances. Only young though and it was his first full season of proper football. Good luck to him

Great signing for them, I was hoping we’d sign him permanently last season as looked to have solid potential.

I was at Morecambe V Port Vale last night to watch Faz Rawson have a storming game to keep Vale at bay, Aiden Stone was at fault beaten at his near post for the only goal, no Mal Benning though.
Darrell Clarke threw a wobbly at the ref and 4th official over a corner that wasn’t given, completely lost it! But I was just to the right of the dugout and it didn’t looked like Conor Ripley got a touch on it .
Vale dominated possession but unlike at Wembley we’re pretty clueless up front !!
