This is when stags are at their best, not the greatest performance on Saturday but we made good chances. I can’t help but feel what cost us the game was the desire to shoe horn Bowery into the side even though it cost more effective players playing in their proper positions.

Stick 3 guys on each others shoulders in a long coat at CB if it means MacLaughlin plays at LWB, I dont care how it's done - he's no more of a CB than anyone else on the pitch, so why him there? He played a part in conceding the first goal. Play Clarke just ahead of JJ and Harbottle? Play Hewitt for the first 30 mins and see how he goes? Play Cooper for the first half and see how he goes? Play a 442? Play Bowery there? There are countless alternatives than having the leagues best wing back at Centre Back, jesus christ. I still haven't come down off the ceiling about it.

These opinions are valid if all players were match fit, Perch , Law , Wallace out injured and others coming back from injury and not match fit.
The team was not at the races but they took their chances, we fluffed ours losing away from home quite common in football.

Oates unlucky on this occasion, I don’t think he could have done any more."
I thought Rhys Oates should have scored especially if he had gone for the ball with his left foot.
