There appears to be a list of leaked premier league fixtures been published that are more likely to be fake .
However if true it has Forest at home on 6th August, the second Saturday of the season.
Will this mean we are home on the first Saturday 30th July.
If so who do we want, Newport again?

They will be fake so pure speculation.
It does raise the question of who people want or expect to get for the first fixture. Clubs promoted from the conference usually get a juicy first fixture against either a team relegated from league one or a team who narrowly missed out on promotion.
Following that theme, I feel our first fixture could be against Grimsby due to that fact and also a bit of rivalry between the two clubs. If it is then I think we will be at home but an early trip to the seaside would be very welcome while the sun is still shining.

I don’t think, back to the medieval times, has there ever been a leaked fixture list that has been correct apart from the occasional lucky guess individual fixture

no, they were fake. Correct fixtures released at 9am, and Forest are away on Aug 6

Another one of note for Forest, they're away Boxing Day at Old Trafford. Pure speculation but could this mean one of the bigger home games for us on Boxing Day maybe?

With Forest away on 6 aug we should be at home. So our opening game the previous week should be away. So Newport away with the game switched because their pitch won't be ready?
Also Forest are away on the last day so we should be at home

There's some talk above that we won't get home games when Forest are at home? Is that right (I don't know)?

Not that I know of. I know forest and County can't be at home on the same day, for obvious reasons. We would be too far away for us to affect them.

Forests first game will surely be a TV game so won’t be 3pm Saturday

I think it's county police resources rather than distance, hence why us and Chesterfield are often at home on the same day

Mansfield have a 1 in 2 chance of being at home on the opening game of the season.
No, the “leaked” fixtures won’t be right
We will play everyone twice a season (unless we get another bout of covid!)
Let’s just wait and see.
