Please stop the bickering.
Keep this thread to rumours on new signings.

One person that seems to cause all the bickering though aint it...?
Last person to do that was sent to the Gulag.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

Forget Bishop, he won't be coming back.

No chance. Flinders says in his interview another will be coming in pretty much.

Owen Mason must be highly rated if it was between those two. Personally I can't see it and think Mason will probably be loaned out again.

Burton, Derby, Sheff Utd, Burton (again) and now Mansfield.
Never in those 24 years have I seen so many who think they're experts and I mean who genuinely believe it as there are on Stagsnet.
Who'd have thought it? Mansfield as the hotbed of football knowledge.
Take a day off lads and enjoy the summer, while the real experts get on with their job of building you a decent squad.
Look, the Cloughs aren’t going to forgive you for backstabbing them.
You’re just embarrassing yourself
Well done broomo at least you had a story to tell a good read to, .
Theirs nothing embarrassing on here ,just opinions, which soon turns to name calling,
On a football issue, its nice to see some of us are putting Wembley behind us, but im not ready just yet, Hawkins still annoys me.
i always thought we had a strong bench, but we could not use it going down to ten men.
Time is a good healer, and i hear we have made our first signing.
Like you say summer is here and come July a hard slog starting for 2022/23
Come on guys this is our season, let's unite behind clough, radfords, and our team/Club and enjoy what should be even better than what we just had, Wembley has gone it's over and as Tom would say "tomorrow will be a good day" COYS.

It's a football Forum and people are entitled to express their opinions...not everyone thinks NC is a football Manager genius but many do. As far as I am concerned I see him as an OK Manager with a lot of Experience trying to get our Club into the next Division. He does make mistakes and I am sure he is aware of them too ,but at the moment he is trying to build a team to gain promotion and until we see the final squad we should not be critical. We are in League 2 arguably one of the easiest Leagues to gain promotion from by being in 4 out of the first 7 places.. and 7 places out of 24 teams means nearly a third of the teams are in with a chance..we have fantastic owners and a brilliant set up with a good financial backing. Hopefully a top 3 finish but definitely at worse another play off place . Last Season is History let's move on

Re Jacobs
Told my brother (a Pompey board moderator) about our interest and his reply is

Given the pre/post season is compressed by 2 weeks this year, I just hope we get all our business done nice and early. Well in advance of the season opener. We were trying to do late deals last season and it's not a good place to be.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

For every signing we make, Evans will have already made 4 for Stevenage anyway.

I was excited about Murphy but it was clear after three or four games that he wasn’t going to be the player I expected. The speed and power looks to have gone out of his legs. Could that be down to a lack of fitness or is he coming to the end of his career? Not sure but would be an expensive risk to test out by having him back again.

Judging by Hibs fans comments he wasn't even remotely fit

Yep, and that Akins will score 15 goals a season easily in that league.
