Many on here think he’s the best keeper in league 2. If you wanted to be picky you could say kicking could improve and some might say he could be more dominant in his 6 yard box.
We certainly wouldn’t want to lose him and has made a number of top class stops.

Good luck for the rest of the season. Looking forward to when we can play you again in the EFL!

needs to be more dominant in his 6yd box, come off his line & either punch or collect it, apart from that more than happy with him after some of the dross we have been served up in net after Mazza

Southend United supporter here in peace.
I was interested in peoples opinions on Nathan Bishops performances this season. I was excited when he was playing in the first team at my club and I was gutted when he left Southend to join Man Utd, although I obviously understand why he did.
Is he developing well? Is there any likelihood of him playing Premier League football ever?
Thanks all!

Yes hes not saved everything thats come his way, made some mistakes and looked a bit shaky in the odd game.... but thats why hes on loan in league two, not league one or the championship.
During our poor run he was the standout player.. often keeping the score down single handedly. Hes kept us in games so many times by pulling off some ridiculous saves, to say hes a poor shot stopper is so short sighted based on very few bad games.
Very young keeper who will continue to get better, this is really only he second full season in the mens game. I liked Logan personally, but Bishop is streets ahead.

Bishop's strong point is his kicking up field, but to play at an higher level he needs to improve both his shot stopping and his command of his 6 yard box.
Just because he's signed my Man Utd doesn't mean he's going to be a top keeper.
For example, look at the goal conceded at Carlisle !
