Expand?

no, don't expand. If you want to discuss politicians and politics, don't do it on this forum please. We provide a news and politics forum for you to do that, free of charge.

Well delete Sneag’s comment. Calling someone a racist and then not allowing a rebuttal is wrong.

You are aware this counts as virtue signalling?

Explain. I see it as stifling debate and denying the right of reply

I've noticed a tendency of people to really derail threads on here.

Why is it that nearly every thread I read, Bellwhiff is arguing with someone, usually for reasons not connected to the original topic?

Fair point.

also for balance, he isn’t the only one and there is definitely a degree of provocation towards him.

I’m all for debate, but can we just stick to topics and leave personal agendas aside?

The main thing here, or at least as far as I've seen, folk who buy season tickets get a bit miffed if too many reduced priced games are offered up.

That is true but I can't remember when there was an offer for cheap tickets for a league game. Or offer ST holders a free drink or some snap if it's cheaper tickets maybe.

Pay what you want is a good idea for a game and usually gets more punters in. Our usual trick is to lose whenever we get a bumper crowd and only the regulars seem to come back

I’m a season ticket holder and think the ticket offers are ok.

It would be good to maximise our opportunity to get people in whilst we’re playing well. I would advocate more offers aimed at young people, especially 14-21. Get them hooked and it’s good for future gates.

I also think there should be some reward for season ticket holder too. Even if its 5% off in the bar and club shop, it would see the club get more revenue in my opinion

I'm a st holder. I agree that some offer to youngsters is the way to go. What about£5 for everyone under 19 and perhaps £10 for 19/21 year olds. Also why not free for under 13s with an adult. With many games away in the near future the one against Orient would be good because you are then looking at early March before the club can make any offers

I’m a Season Ticket Holder and the club can offer whatever incentives they want. Having a season ticket isn’t all about getting in cheaper (though it helps) it’s about the other benefits of guaranteed tickets together with friends, but also offer don’t the club a guaranteed financial income whichever way the season goes.

In fairness, almost every single Stagsnet thread ever has veered wildly off topic. It's a signature move, it's like Hulk Hogan's leg drop, or Mallam not being able to get it up. All part of the fun.

Im a season ticket holder… I think definitely a special ‘family day’ each season could be organised where the club get as many families to come to a game once a season at a heavily discounted price.. future fans are always needed!!
We need something to bring the Town back together, get the Town involved…
Where’s Mr Splash when you need him?

Scared the raspberries out of me when I was a toddler, he came round where we lived on the Round Table float, like something from a horror film

Mr Splash, a real blast from the past. He was always outside Woolworths on a Saturday morning with the Round Table.

Well I usually comment during the game but I’ve been doing something more important but thanks for checking in on me.
