Tyrese played against a team his dad was working at in pre season as well, think it was at Buxton?

Our post sacking of the manager bounce was a 1-1 home draw with Walsall. Not so much of a bounce really as it carried on the draws only theme of the results.
Wasn't until two weeks later before we proper bounced like one of those super bouncy jet balls you used to buy as a kid.

Shows how wrong someone can be

He thought they wouldn’t have the finances to sack him. A local journalist also tweeted earlier in the day that he hasn’t lost the dressing room.

Once more the merry go round goes round and round, a lot of Donny fans see just over 6 months is enough time to take a club that is sinking and fill in the holes.
The owners have one decision appoint a manager, but the fans happy to look for a new scapegoat and all the fun starts again.
Since 2013 they move onto their 10th manager, player power at its best.
Until owners back their decisions a managers job will only be part time, with full time benefits

Bit harsh on Rovers Bear. I count 6 proper managers since 2013, as Flynn and Butler were only given the jobs until the end of the season after a manager left, and Jones was a caretaker. Three of those six were poached by other clubs. Dickov had 28 months in charge, Ferguson 32.

Wellens has been sacked after 7 months because he was doing a terrible job.

I wonder if Omar Bogle will be brought back from Siberia to play for Donny on Saturday along with Ed Williams.

Thanks Martin for the info a well worded statement from the club , i can see Wellens was appointed May 17 2021, 6 months ago.
I also see the board came to unanimous decision he was the right man to lead the club, he knows what this club is about and his drive and determination to be successful as our manager
On reflection the board are very good with well worded statements and little else.
Wellens failed to work with other departments, Recruitment, Medical, then a cracker Sport Science. being Manager i would have thought all those departments were in his job description.
Now we get to the crux of it
The manager not suitable to lead recruitment and with problems with medical and sports science and other departments it seems sense for the board to have a bigger roll,
This is perfect employ a Head Coach and sack him if he fails with the players our recruitment team provide.
This way the board can never be held to account

Nice for Nigel to really have options for tomorrow but also difficult at the same time . Strong bench and the chance to change it up if Plan/Selection A fails.

Omar Bogle not being involved due to "lacking match fitness" probably means he will be on the bench.

It will not be an easy game. Donny have some good players who may raise their game after Wellens has gone. Tommy Rowe is still a very good player. Wellens was playing him at centre half against Burton!! He should be played in an attacking midfield position. He's scored against us before when Evans was manager. He's Donny's top scorer with 3 goals.

Pontus Dahlberg (on loan from Watford) is a very good keeper and good at saving penalties. Tom Anderson is Donny's best centre half but he's been out injured. Ethan Galbraith (on loan from Man Utd) is a very good young midfield player. Jordy Hiwula has a bit of pace and can be lively and Joe Dodoo is big and strong and can hold the ball up but struggles to score.

Overall though this is probably Donny's weakest team since they were relegated to the Conference. A mid-table League 2 side at best so should be an even game

It’s chucking it down in Doncaster. Maybe it will deter a few Doncaster fans.
