Hawks goal was a good call by the lino. As Stirk plays the ball he's onside by a good 6-10 inches.

Instinctive first time stuff by Hawks n Oates. Has to be said, if Jordan was was in Oates position how many touches would he have needed before getting his shot away?

A positive about Hawkins and Oate's turned into a negative about Bowery? Why ?

The quality of that second goal shouldn't be under estimated. Pity Hawkins is suspended for the next league match.

If he's still struggling with his back I'd be tempted to give him 2 weeks to get over it properly. Last thing we need is his back to "go" and he's out for a bit. I'm sure the medical staff know what they are doing though.

that was several weeks ago that Hawkins was struggling with his back. He isn't now as far as we know.

He was on Tuesday night so I assume it’s an ongoing issue.

quite right, my mistake, apologies. I was standing right next to Clough when he said that and somehow missed it... I only heard the one foul away and mistake bit. I therefore need to amend my report of the Sutton game.

Clough post match at Sutton:
“I took Oli Hawkins off too as he has a bad back, he was one foul away from being sent off and he gave a goal away with an uncharacteristic mistake"

Its an opinion forum.. made up of comparisons of players

People will always look for a measure to pile on players they think aren't good enough.

I appreciate that but Bowery bashing based on other players playing well struck me as negating the purpose of the post which was presumably meant to be positive.

Really good video that. Gives a lot of other bits n bobs. Little stuff that shows how much supporting a lower league club means to folk.
