Renuf pushed us and in the end were worth a draw
Theirs not to reason why
Theirs but to do and die
Into the valley of Death
Rode the Six Hundred

The Stags put out a strong side and it was a tough battle against Rainworth Miners Welfare in a game of few chances. Josh Scott gave the Stags the lead and James Gale missed a sitter in the 1st half and another good chance in the 2nd half. Rainworth kicked downhill in the 2nd half and they got on top without creating many chances until near the end when there was a bit of pinball in the Stags area with 3 or 4 shots getting blocked. Well done to the young Stags but they will need to raise their game if they are drawn against Basford.
