Just checked out the fixture list and the next six League games could yield us 14 points out of 18
Tranmere 1 point minimum
Stevenage 3 points
Scunthorpe 3 points
Sutton minimum 1point
Crawley 3 points
Carlisle 3 points
Should be enough to see us rise to mid table and about time we played some of the lower position teams as well
If we don't achieve the above then sadly Mr Clough will have to go..if he goes after the Tranmere game then ANY new Manager should have a dream start with that fixture list

Best case scenario imo if we get some bloody players fit.

With Forrester and O'Toole close to a start, and Maris back. Get Hawkins back up front, put oates or Johnson alongside him. We will pick up more points.
There's 18 points available from those 6 games. I'd like us to get 9 points. I think expecting 14 is a bit much. We've only got 11 points out of a possible 42 points so far. 20 points out of 60 if we hit the 9 points target is a decent platform to build on from where we are now. Get some defensive options in. We cannot afford to have to play Hawkins at centre back all season.

I fancy us to get 10 points from those games.
Given the players we have out etc I am of a mind that we can’t get any worse that what we have been, but we’re still only a decent run of form from mid table.
Some defenders are coming back. Hawkins can get back up top and the Macca/Quinn combination should see us get more balls into the box.
If we can be within 10 points of the playoffs in January, we might be lucky enough to have an exciting end to the season.

Amazing diablo . Weve won 2 games so far and youre guessing 4 wins 2 draws and undefeated in the next 6 games. I need some of your medication

Also nicely setting up that anything less than 14 points from 18 is failure.
If we get anywhere near 12 it's a huge success.

We had a decent run on paper when we played Walsall A, Rochdale H, Orient A (maybe not), Barrow H, and Oldham H on the trot and that yielded no wins, 3 points from 15, and just 2 scored.
Let’s concentrate and just getting 1 win to start with

To be mid table at Christmas Stags probably need to win 6 of the next 8 games.
After 12 games without a win that would be an impressive turnaround.

they should have beaten port vale, they took the lead against exeter - there’s something in there, a draw against tranmere on the face of it wouldn’t be a bad result.
It’s the games afterwards which will make the difference

Well there you go...I have received considerable flak in the recent past and told I am too negative about the state of the team and the current Manager's failings and yet here we are at the bottom of the pile...And now I look at the next 6 games and the think if it's going to get turned around then the next 6 games will make or break it. Broomo Bless him seems to think I'm setting up my forecast so I can then say its all a failure...Duh you just gotta laugh..See you all tomorrow COYS

Average PPG required over last ten years to be 12th at Christmas = 1.39
We'll have played 22 games by Christmas, so that would equate to 31 points. We have 8 games to pick up 20pts, meaning we need to win at least 6 of them.
