Keith Hill has only won three out of 39 games at Scunthorpe and they are 23rd in the National League. He's also had two transfer windows to strengthen the squad.

My prediction of Scunny struggling this season might well come true.

As I see it, the sacking at Scunthorpe had been coming for a while. And if they don't improve, they could become the next Stockport (from League One to Conf North within the space of about three years), although Stockport now are back in the EFL.
Stockholm, July 4, 2008, 15.00 GMT. Good news came, K.H. gone. March 1, 2012. Ground purchased.

He didn’t have a budget so his first window was all loan signings or free transfers.

Probably jumped before being pushed. They sold 2 strikers on deadline day as well with no replacements when they were already struggling for goals.

Saw responses from fans, said JFH treated it as his second job behind sky sports punditry. Will be interesting to see where they go next, not sure if Clough would be tempted by it? He has loyalty towards them but a job to finish here and a good chance to get it done.

Why would Clough be interested to go to a smaller club with a much smaller budget in a league above? Not going to happen I don’t think.

No chance, there’s a decent possibility we’ll be swapping leagues at the end of the season.

Looks like money was too tight, which was the reason cloughy left (to safeguard the club) so doubt he’d go back

If money is so tight at Burton, how would they be able to compensate Stags for Nigel and his team?

Shezurrection 4 has come to an end

"Oldham Athletic can confirm that, following discussions with manager and club legend John Sheridan, it has today been agreed that the time is right for him to step aside. Having had the chance to assess where the club is at and what changes are required, both the Board and John feel that someone else is needed to take on the major challenge of restoring the club’s fortunes on the field. To allow him the send-off he deserves and to give fans the opportunity to show their appreciation, John has agreed to take charge for one last time at our home match with Eastleigh on Saturday.

We would place on record our thanks to John for his efforts. He came out of retirement in January because he felt a sense of duty to try and keep the club in the EFL. However, despite his best efforts and the amazing backing of our fans, that attempt was ultimately unsuccessful. Following relegation - and with the club for sale amid uncertain times - John felt he could not turn his back and so agreed to remain in charge. The completion of the Rothwell family takeover means that the club’s future has now been secured and with results so far not what everyone had been hoping for, John and the Club now feel that the time is right for both he and Latics to move on as we enter a new era."

Oldham are 16th and lost 3-0 at Woking on Tuesday.

As much as I like them, I tipped them for the drop.Their manager thinking Scottish Championship players could cut it in league 2 was deluded.
Probably only a matter of time till he went but a win v the pile of garbage that were Gillingham yesterday(nxt Saturday at home)may have given him a little longer.
