Losing 4-3 at Morecambe after being 3-0 up after 29 minutes has amazingly happened to Gary McSheffrey before

Happened the weekend after Calvin Andrew hit the winner for the Stags at Chesterfield way back in 2013.
Stockholm, July 4, 2008, 15.00 GMT. Good news came, K.H. gone. March 1, 2012. Ground purchased.

"Boston United have regrettably parted company with first team manager Craig Elliott. The 43-year-old leaves his role following Sunday's 3-2 home defeat at the hands of Alfreton Town. The former Shaw Lane boss, who took over the United reins in November 2017, memorably guided the Pilgrims to the second round of the FA Cup in 2019 and the National League North promotion final in 2020."

Steve Evans has been sacked by Gillingham along with his mate Dodgy.

"Gillingham Football Club can confirm that the contract of Manager Steve Evans has been terminated by mutual consent with immediate effect. The Club wishes to thank Steve for all his efforts over the past two years in circumstances that have been significantly more difficult and challenging due to the Covid pandemic, and wishes him well in the future. His assistant, Paul Raynor, will also be leaving the Club."

Wonder if he might end up at Bradford sooner or later. Saw Adams was getting a bit of stick yesterday.

What a shock, unless given a massive wage budget he's utterly useless.

Steve Evans got Boston United and Crawley promoted from the National League and he likes spending loads of money (sometimes illegally) so Wrexham may be interested if they cannot get near the top of the league under Parkinson.

Only a few months ago, Gillingham turned down an approach from Stevenage for Evans.
I assume that means Stevenage would have had to pay compensation for him.

Now they've had to pay him off to get rid of him, and Stevenage ended up with a far better manager in Tidsdale who would have been a better option for Gillingham.

Evans will be laughing all the way to the bank again until he blows it all on fast food.

He must regret leaving us.

He was on the verge of promotion and he's spectacularly failed everywhere since leaving.

I can imagine he's crying all the way into his pay offs from Peterborough and Gillingham

I don't regret him leaving us, not for a single second. Our club is infinitely better off without a nasty, disloyal, over-rated waster like him.

Tisdale is a far better manager than Evans is a interesting take considering what they have both actually achieved in football, he’s struggled since Exeter and I think getting them to the league is his only promotion, maybe he got some with Team Bath aswell

Evans would be good for Salford or something like that, he’s a manager that’s good at having money chucked at him, although he did well at Crawley pre and post money too, seems to be that Gillingham is a bit of a basket case at the minute. Definitely be some good jobs for Evans in football still but thankfully not here!

Tisdale got MK Dons promoted, but I understand if you’ve wiped that day from your memory
