Agreed, he'll get Hartlepool out of trouble.

Curle has managed 5 clubs that have subsequently lost their league status, ourselves, Chester, Torquay, County and Oldham. He's only managed 2 that managed to stay in the league after he left. Surely 6 would be a record and one I think he'll get. He's a terrible manager.

He basically couldn’t get the most talented Stags team for a generation promoted. Any other manager would’ve imo.

Derby not even doing that badly, they’re in the playoffs on GD. Would be a ridiculously good appointment that though, they must be offering him an absolute fortune.

The gift just keeps on giving with Derby and their record on managers only goal difference from the play offs after only 9 games.
With the players recruited under him and his playing style.
They decide to bring another Manager in.
all will be revealed in May

Really thought Flynn would have a great season at Walsall. Another defeat today. In their last 10 games they’ve got a record of 8L2D. He might be the next to go. Johnson blanks for the 4th league game in a row.

I always thought Flynn may be one of those who only does well at one club, think he deserves more time though.

Watford being Watford. They should be doing better though with that squad. He’ll be back at FGR before Christmas no doubt.

What a surprise, thought he would last longer than that but not exactly a shock at Watford. He'll be laughing with his pay off though

Watford is as Watford does.

It must be the best gig in football, sign a 2 year deal in the sure knowledge it'll be fully paid up in 6 months & a sacking by Watford is a 'no harm, no foul' on your CV.

Not seen it mentioned anywhere on here, but last I heard, Rotherham had made an approach to Exeter for Matt Taylor and Exeter had allowed them to speak to him.

As of a couple of hours ago, news outlets are reporting he is set to be announced as the new Millers manager.

I expect as a fan-owned club, Exeter has a limited budget for an ambitious manager and also they take whatever compensation they can get.

Now I wonder if Exeter will promote from within like usual, or would they have Paul Tisdale back?

Only once, and it says
Rotherham United have appointed Exeter City boss Matt Taylor as their new manager.
