This for me is a long term trap, get fans slowly used to it and then all of a sudden it won’t be as much of a big deal. it just appears rhat they’re having to play a longer game than expected due to the level of hostility.
Not for me, but i’m not going to criticise fans for attending the games against harrogate and sheffield weds - good for you, the ticket money isn’t to be sniffed at.
I’d be more curious as to those that attended the game against whoever the under 23 side is (you can see my level of interest in this competition here), but again each to their own.
I do totally believe the money for winning is a bribe though, make it more appealing to the poor lower league clubs and we’ll buy them that way.
Hopefully i’m wrong but i don’t see it.
