Thanks again. I disagree with being unable to award man of the match and having to resort to a shortlist. I think it should be awarded to Bishop for his all-round solid performance and point-preserving saves. He's shaping up to be our best goalkeeper for some time (I hope that doesn't tempt fate!). He must be giving the defenders some urgently-needed confidence.

Looking at the video of the Sinclair incident, the linesman was unsighted so wouldn't have seen the full incident - I don't think that he was aware that Sinclair was being dragged by the leg, that was masked by the Orient defender, and I'm not sure that Ty made contact. Although the flailing leg would certainly justify a yellow card, the dragging might have been regarded as mitigating, particularly taking into account the exaggerated injury supposedly suffered by the defender.

I've tried not to comment on man of the match but it's quiet so not Bishop or Hawkins for me.
Bishop because of a few bad kicks, petty I know, Hawkins was good playing out of position for the first time for us but McLaughlin headed away better and cleared better than him.
Clarke and Marris really battled to help the defence as did Lapslie and not forgetting Bowery who had a really good game.

I've just realised my short list is longer than Martins, I'm going to go for McLaughlin, sometimes a block and a tackle is as good as any save.

Fair enough, Chip. And as far as Barrow playing "tippy tappy car park football", let's hope they do!
Despite that, they're three points ahead of us. So they must also be playing some incisive stuff as well.
