Why is our defence so raspberries ?
Why have non of our players improved since signing? .. In fact they all seem to be going the other way dont you think nigel?.
Why do you keep signing un-fit & injured players?
Why did you send our best fullback to rochdale on loan?
Do you think we are now in a relegation battle?
You have a reputation for finding 'unknown' players and moulding them into sellable assets... How come you haven't found any for Mansfield yet?.
At last the difficult questions.
1 Hawkins, Oates, Johnson all new forwards, and Bowery , sinclair have not had a lot of game time, finding the right formation with so many good players takes time.
scoring in 7 out of 8 games shows promise.
Midfield still very competitive but Quinn a big miss, Defence 3 out out 5 injured, very hard to improve when not playing.
2 Any player can get injured in a game or a training session, even doing D_I_Y at home, injuries are part and parcel of the game.
3 our best full back is still at the club, Perch , With Gordon and Clarke in the pecking order, it was the best thing for him and the club.
4 i can only be as silly as the question, With 38 games to play, and with 114 points to play for, yes
5 It takes about 5 years for a Academy player to make the grade, and after spending over 4 years at the Rams, and 20 years at Burton, we know spending 10 months at Mansfield.
3 months of that being the summer break, dealing with the cost factor of covid 19, and wanting to recruit players, We found when we arrived 11 games without a win, the cupboard was bare
of saleable assets, but we did cut costs and still achieve our goal league status, it was explained very clearly that change takes time, and patience is key
if 8 games in brings these questions then you fail to listen and clearly your expectations are absurd, Tell me what season did you enjoy
