1-1 draw, I'll be happy with that to start the season on.

The fred's been ousted, but sponsorship is back. Good luck, feel it's a nailed on draw... but I could be wrong. It's gonna be tough, it's gonna be tasty and I can't bloomin wait :D

Mansfield 2 - 1 Brizzle

DJ First goal
Perch OG to make 1- 1
Laps popping up with a winner in the 86th minute
We'll then pop to the Bryon for a few beers, closely followed by the Market then over to the swan to watch mellis pull some birds.

Gut feeling of a 4-0 thumping in Stags' favour. Head says frustrating draw like v Tranmere last season.

A hard fought victory for the stags.

Barton to be sent to the stands for losing his temper following incessant hounding by the crowd over his recent assault on his wife.

I’d like to think we can open up with a good win.

And possibly Ollie Clarke joining him if he goes over the top facing former club Brizzle. Needs to avoid an early booking.

3-0 to the Stags... completely dominant performance to spark an unattainable belief that we are going to walk the league, and an expectation that we will win every game... Bring It On !!!!

:) Looking forward to the new season kicking off .

Give NC and the team a massive round of applause as we set off into a new season

Be great with a good home attendance so lets make some noise :)

Be a tough game but over the 90 minutes we should grind out a result .

Super Stags 2 Brizzy 1 Johnson and Oates .

Bristol Rovers A favourite for promotion, and certainly looks a quality squad, with a 12000 capacity all seated stadium and average gates of between 7-8 thousand fans.
Certainly one of the bigger clubs in league 2, bringing well over a thousand fans, should be a great atmosphere,
Like a lot of clubs, they have struggled with pre-season with coved and injuries, The first competitive game for many of their players as a team.
It is a good opening game for us, all players will be wound up like a elastic band, i think we can win it in the later stages, but they will test our defence.

Have they got a new ground?

Just looked on gashead site, they have been told they can buy tickets on the day ?

They say hundreds will be locked out. Better lock the gate.

It doesn’t say anything of the sort. It says

Admission tickets A reminder that tickets for our trip to
@mansfieldtownfc
will go off sale online at 10am this morning!

No mention of buying tickets on the day
