A terrible signing by Graham Coughlan based on Joe Riley's previous injury record. This signing should never have been approved.

I don't blame Joe. Good luck to him and his family for the future.

Have to disagree a out being a terrible signing, he was a great signing on paper. Having seen him play at other clubs he was a league one standard right back and you could say we only ever got the chance to sign him because oh his injuries, just the risk a league two club has to take sometimes. And in the game today and how players recover from previous career Ender's, it's not really a reason not to sign someone anymore

Thought he always did well for us and really liked him. Hope he gets into coaching or something and does well. Good luck for the future Joe

We knew that Joe Riley was very injury prone when we signed him. You could only justify giving him a short term contract.

Steve Evans, DF and GC have all wasted the club and JR's money by signing players on big wages with bad injuries - David Mirfin, Zander Diamond, Craig Davies, Joe Riley

Does the club ever carry out proper medicals?

Managers do take a gamble with signings. Coxy used to like signing a rogue or two. Sometimes it doesnt work out. Good luck and good health Joe

Sad for him.
