Charsley now got a knock!

But would seem quite a few retuning to action which is good to see.

Assume Bowery and Burke still isolating.

As I have alluded to on other threads this is the last ‘Behind Closed Doors’ game until two high profile ‘Open’ friendlies’ and judging by the squad Nigel is picking from it looks like he is refining his squad further towards his starting eleven. Hopefully we will find out why Bishop, rumour has it he is playing bass for New Order in the ongoing absence of Peter Hook, is not in the squad. Tuesday next week will be the best indication of the line up for the 7th August.

Anyone who is taking their dog a walk, or just peeking over the hedge at 4 pm could you please give regular updates.

Bishop isn't in the squad as he hasn't joined us yet.

Has there been anything explicitly said about Bowery?

Clough did say that there had been a couple of positive tests. If one is Bowery, he would need to isolate for 14 days, so it's still plausible that he wouldn't be back yet.

Yes totally plausible. I find it strange they've not mentioned him by name but have other team members.

Hope he stays, I cant see it. hope I'm Mr Humble pie.

Thanks, though do you know when he will and or the reasoning for it or does it depend on how many gigs New Order have to play.

Clough mentioned he would join a couple of weeks before the season, so assume he will be available for the Coventry game at the very least. So I would guess he will join on Blue Monday.

You had people pretty much admitting he was leaving the club because he wasn't in the lineup announced earlier. Honestly

You did make it sound like he'd not bothered to return, I doubt the manager would put up with that and am not sure Bowery is that type either. Now whether he moves on like Mayo did, that's clearly a different matter. I really want him to stay.
