Does the barcode now work on your phone, or do you still have to print it out?

Im guessing the 1980's style turnstile scanners are still in use.... QR code readers will be installed about 2029

In all seriousness thou surely we dont still have to print or pick up the tickets for home games?

I've rung the club to see if they can fax mine over. Unfortunately its not possible as they have lent the machine to Notts County so they can verify signing some part time sparky with the National League admin.

The print at home ticket really needs a redesign. Old adverts for The sandy pate bar on the right and lots of wasted paper. Should design a ticket that you can fold into 3. And update the platform so it says print at home/mobile ticket.

The club have tweeted that there’s no need to print tickets. Use your phones.

Out of interest, did anyone use the ‘scan your phone’ option last night? Did it work well?

Christ on a bike. That’s what printers or collecting from the office is for.

My mate did, (yes I have got some ;) ). It took him a couple of tries, in the end he found whereas you have to hold your ticket well clear of the scanner to get a good read, he had to hold the phone right up close.

No issues for me, scanned immediately after holding my phone to it.

I find that when I use the trains a lot, you basically have to lay your phone face down onto the scanner for it to scan your ticket and open the barrier.
