And some were saying it wasn't Keogh at all!

So Keogh was on trial and was deemed not good enough ;)

Just a new added unfounded rumour to add to the pile

Richard Keogh did a days training with us as a favour?

Weird favour that, not sure im having it. It was probably a 'try before you buy' on his part, and he's said no thanks.

I think it was a favour to him, not to us! There have been other occurrences of players training with us as a favour to them.

He said "We'd still like to do some business, maybe one or two more, but that's dependent on a couple going out."

Oates for Reid.

I'd expect he would like to do the following business: another keeper for Stech, another CD for Menayese, another (edited- midfielder - as stated by Nigel Clough) for O'Keeffe.

NC said in the interview that he wanted a centre half and another quality midfield player to back up Stephen Quinn, Ollie Clarke and George Maris.

Some Wrexham fans think they’re signing Ollie Clarke!

I bet it was Wrexham who offered Rhys Oates 40% more wages

That would make more sense. Wasn't how I interpreted the wording.

Keogh not signing, i will not lose any sleep over a player aged 35 and had a long term knee problem, i think we have a enough golden oldies in Quinn and Perch.
Sounds like they have been picking bricks up from the bottom of a swimming pool, its a problem if you can not swim,
Oh dear going away for a few days, Ben Turner said they had a great time bonding, and Clough was brilliant with them,
Its nice to see youth involved with the first team squad,

Pleased to hear that he would ideally like another midfielder as well.

He never mentions Charsley when he talks about his midfield options. His goals/assists stats were up there last season.

I think he’s fortunate to have received his contract offer in January. Had he not received one then I think he’d have been let go in the summer in my opinion.

Whether he deserved the contract at the time is another discussion and admittedly he was one of the better players in the first few months of the season. He needs to work on his end product as he tends to be really wasteful when he gets in to good areas (even though his output was decent early doors).
