A trialist with the surname Scott has come on. Any idea who it is or what position he's playing?

Shame I missed a good runout. I nearly went this evening but was put off by having too much time to kill after work -and didn't want to sit in ground on my todd for 2 1/2 hours. Was there any danger of folks being turned away, what was the attendance?

No worries. It was a great run out and just great to see live football. Credit to Retford too, they made it competitive even if the score doesn't reflect it! Johnson looks like the poacher we need, though obviously too early to make big predictions.

Nice chips too, skin on, great!

So nice to see football in the flesh.

- Hope Quinn not injured? Went off a minute before half time so assume he felt something.
- Some great goals scored, Hawkins the pick of the bunch. Their keeper looked very young and was quite short.
- McLaughlin and Gordon bombed forward at every opportunity. Macca looked leaner.
- Johnson took his two goals nicely.
- Sinclair brilliant when he came on, so close to a brilliant goal from range.

Great entertainment. The players looked extremely fit already. Great to see Menayese start and play well alongside Hewitt. Johnson and Hawkins looked proper strikers and Sinclair when he came on was unplayable, what a talent he is!
