Does that put to bed the Naylor rumour then? Or will he be classed as the 'defender'?

I’d have thought if we’re only wanting one more defender then it will surely have to be a left back?

Great news on Quinn.

Need 3 forwards for me. 2 strikers and a right forward.

I'm guessing Naylor will be a 1st Choice CB who can obviously cover in midfield when needed..

I reckon..
Quinn
Naylor

2 x GK
1 x LB
2 x ST
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

Knew you would give me a mention  really pleased to be fair, he was really good for us last season.

I think we need a left back that can cover CB.

Quite surprised actually to read that ‘one more defender’ comment. I’m not sure that Hewitt in for Sweeney is too much of an upgrade though I accept he offers more versatility. I had presumed that we would still be in the market for one more lead CB, which may well be the case but then we may be light at LB?

Perhaps he was more than happy with McLaughlin at left back who did perform well towards the back end of the season no doubt, and see’s Jaden Charles as adequate back up?

Things can obviously change though if Meneyese or O’Driscoll were to be moved on I guess

Very positive Clough pushing a promotion push, not like him he is normally lets wait and see what can be achieved and take it from there, Quinn has been talked into giving it another season
it seems, and Perch, Rawson, Menayese,, Hewitt, plus one more central defender will plug the gaps from last season, For me the only other problem was Gordon at right back.
Two new goal keepers should prevent a few goals, and our strike force being more consistent and adding a few more goals , could do the trick.

No comment given though on Wrexham job seems a little ominous. Question not asked or requested to not be asked??

More like it’s that ridiculous it’s not worth even mentioning.

Betting markets for jobs at our level have such a limited interest that it only takes a few bets to swing the odds in a big way. A few people have probably decided he would be the best man for the job and assumed that their affluent owners should be able to tempt him away from us, without taking into account his record of loyalty and the fact that he lives local and wouldn't want the travelling it would involve. Nothing more than wishful thinking by desperate Wrexham fans.
Absolutely nothing to see here and not even worth offending him by asking the question. As others have said, the only job that would make him lift an eyelid would be the Florist job, but I don't think he would even want that poison chalice at the moment.

Is the full interview going on iFollow does anyone know?

Sometimes I find that what Nigel says and what the CHAD interpret are slightly different things so I always like to listen for myself.

It would also be nice to get some content for the monthly subscription I pay for!
