A lot of Grimsby fans saying he was very good at centre back when paired with Menayese, but not too good anywhere else.

As always it’s best to form your own opinions once you’ve seen him in our shirt.

You also need good players around you, which he clearly didn't have at the fish

It’s a Clough signing. Solid, dependable, reliable. Let’s be honest, it’s what our defenders haven’t been for 2 years so let’s see how he gets on.

Some on here really need to do some research on the managers signings at other clubs. Probably will be ‘underwhelming’ on paper but he wants them to do a job. It’s worked before.
